BIF currently has no guidelines for the collection and analysis of tick parasite data in US beef cattle. While substantial amounts of work have been performed in other countries, future investment in research on the genetics of tick infection and guidelines development would be essential. Below are links to examples of the efforts and guidelines from other countries.
